CONFIGURATION GUIDE FOR X-LITE 4.0 (xLite BETA)

Step 1        Download Xlite 4.0 soft phone here:   http://www.nomado.eu/support-download-configure-voip/softphone-sip-parameters-pc-mac-call

Step 2        After creating your Nomado account, you will receive a system generated email for your SIP Parameter information. This contains your SIP Username (Internal Nomado Number) and SIP Password (6 digit, alphanumeric).

Step 3        Click “xlite” and click “Account Settings”

Step 4            Enter the SIP Parameter Information. Take note: Display Name; User Name; and Authorization Name are the same, which is your SIP Username (Internal Nomado Number). On Domain, type sip.nomado.eu  .Click on Domain button on the Domain Proxy.

UserID:            Nomado Internal Number (SIP number)
Display Name:        Nomado Internal Number (SIP number)
Authorization Name:     Nomado Internal Number (SIP number)
Password:        Nomado SIP Password
Domain:        sip.nomado.eu
Stun:            stun01.sipphone.com:3478

Step 5        Click on the <TOPOLOGY> button.  On STUN server, click the <Use specified server>. Then type stun01.sipphone.com:3478 then click on APPLY, then OK.

Note:  Check error codes below if the registration process is not successful.

Now, you’re ready to make calls.

Click  Settings
Click  Internet Telephony
Make sure  Use Internet Telephony  has check mark.

Type your Nomado SIP Number  on Internet Number
Type your Nomado SIP Number on User name

Type your Nomado SIP Password

Type “ sip.nomado.eu “ on both boxes for Registrar and Proxy Server

Leave everything  as is, and click  OK

Your configuration should look like this, notice that the 2nd illustration were left empty.

Incroyable mais vrai. Des jeunes suédois Janus Friis et Niklas Zennstorm ont réussi à vendre à près de 3 milliards de dollars un nom et une base d’utilisateurs mais pas la technologie qui va avec… Je pense que leur grand bureau d’avocat au Luxembourg doit avoir des sueurs froides.. Normal. Ils vont certainement trouver l’argument de dire que ça fait un bon coup de pub

Décidément, si on n’avait pas ces suédois il faudrait les inventer, voici il y a quelques semaines, le gouvernement du pays des belles blondes a trouvé que Skype devrait être considéré comme un opérateur téléphonique à part entière et donc… payer les droit d’un opérateur de téléphonie inscrit en Suède… De nombreux pays ont déjà essayé cela avec Skype et comme par hasard c’est le pays origine de Skype qui semble avoir réussi ce tour de force juridique… Encore une fois eBay et sa clique d’avocats devraient revoir leur stratégie, voire leurs avocats… Mais j’aimerais savoir quelle extrême volonté a poussé la Suède à cette décision? Serait-ce nos deux lascars Janus Friis et Niklas Zennstorm qui n’auraient pas payé assez d’impôts dans un pays friand de taxes collectives?

En tous les cas, prions pour que les Etats ne soient pas plus forts que l’Internet qui abaisse toutes les frontières, et qu’on ne demande pas aux opérateurs de VoIP comme nomado, truphone, mobile-globe et autres services globaux de devenir des opérateurs de téléphonie à part entière et “avec” frontières
